Tours, class and preschool visits are now reserved through the Facilities desk. The phone number is (562) 916-1388. The information needed are specific themes, if any, number of children, age or grade level of children and number of adults. Any special requests such a dvd or video plus a storytime or if the class only wants a tour?

The Children's Library Help! desk is staffed by qualified professionals who are able to assist teachers with finding materials for their classrooms. If a teacher or grade level has a specific topic of study, please call a Children's Librarian at (562) 916-1343 at least a week ahead of the assignment so the Library can put these items in temporary reference at the Children's Library Help! desk. This way not all materials are checked out by one person.
