Crisis Ethicist’s Directions for Use (of How to Be at Home in a Residence-Cum-Labor)

The pages of these directions are bound with two round rings and placed in a soft cover half-box. A box of chrome pins accompanies the text, and both the text and pins are laid in a specifically constructed cloth-covered box with string and a metal button clasp. The text is an excerpt from Architectural Body by Madeline Gins and Arakawa. The book is letterpress printed from hand-processed photopolymer plates and includes handset type on Zerkall paper.

Inge Bruggeman has been making and publishing fine press artists’ books under her imprint INK-A! Press since 1992. In addition to her limited edition books and broadsides, Bruggeman creates prints, print-objects and other mixed media works.
