Helen Groves

The poetry in Helen Groves by Olga Bromas, poet-in-residence at Brandeis University, and T. Begley, a noted musician and translator, first appeared in such literary journals as Cosmos, Sonora Review and Provincetown Arts. This title is the first bound volume produced by Lisa Bowden at Kore Press in Tucson, Arizona. The structure is a chapbook, with a simple pamphlet stitch with red book thread to bind the single signature. It is sewn into a deep blue Sakamoto and Kuzuryu paper wrapper with the title printed on the cover. The book was printed from polymer plates with handset Palatino type on Mohawk Superfine paper.
